Region 8 |
|
Who we are… The ELCA has nine regions that bring together the mission and ministry of area synods. Region 8 is composed of eight synods. In this territory, we find the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, (the oldest Lutheran Seminary in North America) founded in 1826; three colleges of our Church: Gettysburg, Susquehanna and Thiel, eight outdoor ministry sites and numerous expressions of social services, schools and advocacy ministries. |
