To
read: Philippians 4:4-7
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your gentleness
be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Do not worry about anything, but in
everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be
made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will
guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.Text from New Revised Standard Version Bible, copyright 1989, Division of Christian Education of the National Council of the Churches of Christ in the United States of America. Used by permission. All rights reserved.
To think about:
We are now in a season that is one of seemingly high anxiety for some. My wife,
Terry and I have decided to stop exchanging Christmas gifts. For us this is one
way to lessen the anxiety and the need to find the right gift. In thinking and
discussing this important spiritual season, we are looking for ways to put an
end to anxieties and to seek new ways to rejoice in the Lord.
