Before the first class meeting on Tuesday the 17th

• Complete the SURVEY as soon as possible and at least by Wednesday January 11. (If you did not receive the email link, let me know.)
• Reply to the emails inviting you to join Google Groups, Blogger, and Diigo Groups.
• Start reading From the Garden to the City
  • At the end of the introduction and each chapter, check out: From the Garden to the City Blog Tour. (Participation points if you add comments on the blog posts!)
  • At the end of the each day in the Reading Schedule (below), participate in the forum on FishersNet. For each day, the expectation is that you will make at least one response to one of my originating questions and comment on at least one response by your peers. Your response is due by 9pm each day. Your comment is due by noon the next day.
  • As you are reading, write down questions you would like to ask the author. We will be interviewing him online on Thursday the 19th.
  • If you are reading the book on Kindle (either using a Kindle or any software version), check out my shared notes. 
  • Reading schedule:
    Note: This schedule averages out to about 35 pages per day. Plan accordingly allowing time for responses. NOTE: REVISED for a 2nd time
    • By Tues 10 Wed 11: Introduction, chs. 1-2 (your response on FishersNet due by 9pm; comment on someone else's response by noon on Wednesday - repeat this pattern for the next 3 days)
    • By Wed 11 Thurs 12: Chs. 3-4
    • By Thurs 12 Fri 13: Chs 5-6
